A quieter kind
of website.
This site introduces Rustycam, a desktop CAM application in development at SNG Precision Machining. Public download availability is controlled separately for Windows and Linux.
First-party website statistics.
We count homepage, plugin-page and contact-page requests and download starts by operating system. To estimate daily visitors, our server uses a keyed hash of your network address and the UTC date. Raw addresses are not stored in the statistics database. These aggregate-counter hashes are deleted after two days; aggregate daily counts remain. Shared networks may count as one visitor, and bots may be included. We do not track browsing across websites or use advertising trackers.
Understanding visits and automation.
The private admin dashboard groups visits using a separate daily-scoped keyed hash of network address and browser header. For up to 30 UTC days, we retain first and last request times, page-view and download counts, first visited page, referral hostname, a masked network address, and a shortened browser header with inferred browser, operating system and device type. Detailed groups are capped at 50,000. Referral paths, query strings and credentials are not retained in these statistics.
Our own page script reports whether JavaScript ran, whether the browser reports automation, and whether mouse movement, a click, touch or keyboard activity occurred on a visible page. Only yes/no activity signals are transmitted—not mouse coordinates, keys or typed text. These signals estimate bot versus human traffic; they cannot verify identity. No precise location is collected. Identifiers are not linked across UTC days.
Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) requests are excluded from the detailed log and browser activity reporting. Basic aggregate counts and operational logs still apply. Details are pruned when traffic is recorded or the administrator opens the visitor log. No third-party analytics or bot-detection service is used.
Cookies and accounts.
A short-lived page token binds activity reports to the page request; it is not saved in browser storage.
Browsing and downloading do not require an account, analytics cookies or browser storage. Site administrators use a secure, HTTP-only login cookie that expires after eight hours. Sign-in attempts are rate-limited using hashed network addresses for 15 minutes. Administrative actions are recorded for security and release management. There is no public registration.
Contact and feature requests.
If you submit the contact form, we store the message type, title, message, submission time, review status, and any name or email you choose to provide in our private admin inbox. Contact details are optional and are not verified. We use this information to review your feedback and, if appropriate, respond. Submissions are not published or used for marketing. Do not include passwords, proprietary NC, customer drawings or other confidential information.
Messages are retained for up to 180 days, with expired records removed when the form or inbox is used, and the administrator can delete them sooner. A keyed hash of your network address limits submissions for one hour; a signed form token, a hidden field and timing checks help reduce spam. No third-party form or bot-detection service is used. Attachments are not accepted. To request earlier deletion, use the contact form and identify your earlier submission. Infrastructure backups may retain deleted records until their normal rotation.
Basic server logs.
Our web server may separately record connection information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information, request time and response status for operation and troubleshooting. Fonts, screenshots and page assets are served from this domain; there are no third-party analytics services.

About the screenshots.
The workspace image is an owner-provided capture of CAST LONG PROTO (O7211), a real program. The tool-library image uses sample entries. The underlying programs, NC files, databases and login credentials are not included with these screenshots.
